Mech Every Day #48: Centurion

Model: Rifleman RFL-3N Mass and Tech Base: 60 tons (heavy) / Inner Sphere Miniature Source: BattleTech Essentials Boxed Set Paint Scheme: Custom Gladiator Notable Pilot: Gray Noton All paints used are from Army Painter unless otherwise noted. This miniature was primed with Matt White spray. It was then given a coat of Kurita Red (Blood Red). Details were painted with Apple Barrel Matte White, Apple Barrel Matte Black, Death Commando (Deep Gray), Steiner Blue (High Lord Blue), Parade Chrome (Shining Silver), and Widow Black (Grim Black). The base was finished with Apple Barrel Matte Black.

Mech Every Day Force Saturday #6: Tenth Lyran Guards Command Lance

  The Lyran Commonwealth, also known as House Steiner, was one of the last Great Houses to form. Its three constituent proto-states were all heavily focused on interstellar trade. The Commonwealth has thus always been a rich nation, but this hasn't translated to battlefield excellence. Steiner's armies are, on average, the heaviest of all the Successor States, but this mainly makes them cumbersome and slow - though if a foe does find themselves out-maneuvered, their destruction at the guns of so many heavy and assault 'Mechs is all but assured. It should noted that Lyran "Social Generals" - entitled rich jerks who purchase their ranks - are well-known at being experts of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. The Lyran Guards regiments are among the realm's backbone units, alongside the Lyran Regulars. In 3049, several of these regiments were stationed along the border of the Free Rasalhague Republic in a show of détente which the Draconis Combine mirrored...

Mech Every Day #29: Centurion

  Model: Centurion CN9-YLW2 Yen-Lo-Wang Mass and Tech Base: 50 tons (Medium) / Inner Sphere Miniature Source: BattleTech Essentials Paint Scheme: 10th Lyran Guards Notable Pilot: Kai Allard-Liao This model has been modified. The right-arm AC/20 was cut off at the elbow and the gauss rifle from the Bounty Hunter's Marauder  (Legendary MechWarriors III) was glued in its place. All paints used are from Army Painter unless otherwise noted. This miniature was primed with Matt White spray. The blue areas were given an coat of Steiner Blue (AKA High Lord Blue). Details include Parade Chrome (AKA Shining Silver), Death Commando (AKA Deep Gray), Widow Black (AKA Grim Black), and Kurita Red (AKA Blood Red 2.0). The base was painted with Apple Barrel Matte Black.
