Paint Scheme: Unique; Modified from Snord's Irregulars standard
Notable Pilot: "Shorty" Sneede

All paints used are from Army Painter unless otherwise noted.
This miniature was primed with Matt White spray. The main body and legs were painted with War Grime (Desolate Brown) and drybrushed with St. Ives Green (Army Green). The left torso and arm were painted with Steiner Blue (High Lord Blue) and drybrushed with Donegal Blue (Runic Cobalt). The right arm was painted with Widow Black and drybrushed with Avalon Gray (Brigade Grey). Details include Parade Chrome (Shining Silver), Death Commando (Deep Gray), Steiner Blue (High Lord Blue), Ricol Red (Pure Red), Muster Yellow (Inner Light), Kurita Red (Blood Red), Gray Death (Ash Grey), and Apple Barrel Matte Black. The base was painted with Apple Barrel Matte Black.

Maps! I love them, especially for BattleTech. I find the ebb and flow of the national borders endlessly fascinating. All of the maps in this post are based directly on official BattleTech sources, just reduced in size and colored to emphasize each state. This first map depicts the Inner Sphere in 2596, at the end of the Age of War and the beginning of the Star League. The ten major states of this period have formed, most of which will continue on through the centuries to come. In the center is the Terran Hegemony (gray). The Lyran Commonwealth is in blue, Free Worlds League in purple, green for the Capellan Confederation, yellow for the Federated Suns, and red for the Draconis Combine. The Periphery states are the Rim Worlds Republic (brown), pale teal for the Magistracy of Canopus, reddish-brown for the Taurian Concordat, and a deeper teal for the Outworlds Alliance. This miniature was sprayed with Matte White. The base coat is Marik Purple (AKA Purple Alchemy in the Speedpaint 1.0 range). Details include Parade Chrome (AKA Shining Silver), Ricol Red (AKA Pure Red), Ultramarine Blue, Death Commando (AKA Deep Gray) and Bounty Hunter Green (AKA Shamrock Green Speedpaint 2.0). The base was painted with Apple Barrel Matte Black.

Model: BattleMaster BLR-1G Mass and Tech Base: 85 tons (Assault) / Inner Sphere Miniature Source: BattleTech: A Game of Armored Combat Paint Scheme: Davion Brigade of Guards (pre-Federated Commonwealth) Notable Pilot: Hanse Davion All paints used are from Army Painter unless otherwise noted. This miniature was primed with Ultramarine Blue spray. It was then given a coat of Citadel Agrax Earthshade. The chest was painted with Ultramarine Blue, but then the entire piece was given instead a drybrush of Ultramarine Blue followed by Donegal Blue (Runic Cobalt). Details include Parade Chrome (Shining Silver), Ricol Red (Pure Red), Matt White, Bounty Hunter Green (Shamrock Green), Kurita Red (Blood Red), Ironclad Grey, Avalon Gray (Brigade Grey), and Widow Black (Grim Black). The base was finished with Apple Barrel Matte Black.
