The overall miniature was given a coat of Liao Green (Orc Skin). Details include Parade Chrome (Shining Silver), Ironclad Gray, Steiner Blue (High Lord Blue), Revenant Bone (Boney Spikes), Actuator Metal (Gun Metal), Ricol Red (Pure Red), Combat Wash (Dark Tone), and Kurita Red (Blood Red). The base was painted with Matte Black.

Maps! I love them, especially for BattleTech. I find the ebb and flow of the national borders endlessly fascinating. All of the maps in this post are based directly on official BattleTech sources, just reduced in size and colored to emphasize each state. This first map depicts the Inner Sphere in 2596, at the end of the Age of War and the beginning of the Star League. The ten major states of this period have formed, most of which will continue on through the centuries to come. In the center is the Terran Hegemony (gray). The Lyran Commonwealth is in blue, Free Worlds League in purple, green for the Capellan Confederation, yellow for the Federated Suns, and red for the Draconis Combine. The Periphery states are the Rim Worlds Republic (brown), pale teal for the Magistracy of Canopus, reddish-brown for the Taurian Concordat, and a deeper teal for the Outworlds Alliance. Model: Elemental Battle Armor Mass and Tech Base: 1000 kilograms (Medium Battle Armor) / Clan Miniature Source: Clan Invasion / Clan Elemental Star Paint Scheme: Clan Jade Falcon Falcon's Claws Notable Pilot: n/a All paints used are from Army Painter unless otherwise noted. This miniature was primed with Matt White spray. It was then given a coat of Kurita Red (Blood Red). Details include Gray Death (Ash Grey), Combat Wash (Dark Tone), and Donegal Blue (Runic Cobalt). The jump jet exhaust was painted with Ryuken Gray (Cloudburst Blue), then drybrushed with Gray Death (Ash Grey), Avalon Gray (Brigade Grey), and Moonbeam Yellow. The base was painted with Apple Barrel Matte Black.
